I need to get out of the house and off the internet.
I've owned a watch for 24 hours and now I almost sent an offer in on this one: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=692560
I need to get some self control here, like now. Think I'm going to go whiskey shopping instead.

Not a heart attack, Needed my aortic valve replaced due to a genetic defect.
Thanks for the kind words. The surgery by and large went pretty smoothly and the recovery is an ongoing process but is also going pretty well, all things considered. Just a couple of minor complications overall that were handled promptly.

Getting doesn't generally help with self control.

Had five projects I wanted to complete at work today, and just finished the last one of them. Feels good man. Four of the five will clear some shit that’s been outstanding from before I even joined the company. Last one was a newer project, trying not to let shit build up here like people in this position have in the past.

Hopefully that water main is fixed and I can go to the office tomorrow. Forgot my laptop charger there
I’d feel less useless in the office instead of sitting at home right now.

Ham and swiss on pretzel rolls just came out of the oven here, currently sitting in a tornado watch.

No issues here, lights dimmed a few times but otherwise we just enjoyed tasty sandwiches.SAWCE wrote:Didn’t realized NY got tornados.
