Acid and I, along with an another anonymous airboater have been talking about getting an aluminium car trailer to tow our various pieces of shit around the country on.
I'm thinking an open 8'x17' or 20' with possible a nose cap.
Anyone got some input on this?

I have many miles towing a Trailex CT-7541.
Aluminum is fantastic, and helps to hold value if you plan to resell down the road. I would 5/7 recommend one for towing cars around. Minimal maintenance needed, and a quick rinse has them looking new again.
Storage box for tiedown straps and a small jack/jack stands was great. Make sure you have at least one spare too.
I’ve towed from NJ to Ohio and Virginia with it behind a 2004 Tahoe/1999 F150.

I want to keep our budget around $4-5K, but from what I'm seeing new is looking like it'll be closer to the $6-7K range. I've found some good shit that I really like, but don't really like that price. After talking to my buddy who has a NASA TT C5, 18' is our minimum. Would love a tool box in the front, and a tire rack is a big plus but not really needed since we're pulling with trucks.
I'm anxious to get the ball rolling on this so we can start prepping for our Lemons shit.

I would go with the longest trailer possible while keeping within your towing capacity. It will help greatly with highway stability and maneuvering.

When my dad sold it a couple years ago, after having it for maybe 8 years, he lost the cost of accessories. Aluminum trailers don’t depreciate that much.
I love those trailers so much.
