Play with colors, wangs, rams, options, interior, etc. I don't know if any of these colors are verified.

They announced all the colors at the debit so they are probably all legitimate.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:44 pm https://visualizer-east.chevrolet.com/u ... hannel=b2c

They originally only announced 8 or 9 of the "12 or 13" according to the engineering lead that talked to TFL Car at the launch. He was asked what color was his favorite and he said "mine will be one of the ones we didn't announce, if it ends up making it".CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:46 pmThey announced all the colors at the debit so they are probably all legitimate.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:44 pm https://visualizer-east.chevrolet.com/u ... hannel=b2c

$70k is a lot for a car that you know will tank in value right off the lot. The best Corvettes are low optioned ones...they don't depreciate at all. 2LT, Z51, etc is just lighting money on fire. Your hand-wringing over spending $50k on a Tesla is compared to $70k on a Chevy.

A c8 is special... a model 3 is a civic. Also I am sure the MSRP will jump 10k from 2020/2021 ?Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:59 pm$70k is a lot for a car that you know will tank in value right off the lot. C8 won't be special for long. It'll be produced in the same if not more volume than the C7/6/5/4/3/2/1max225 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 2:00 pmA c8 is special... a model 3 is a civic. Also I am sure the MSRP will jump 10k from 2020/2021 ?Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:59 pm

Yea, true. I guess the C8 will always be "rare" compared to that.

Just use the C7 as a base.
C7 base automatic starts at $58,990. C8 base starts at "under $60k" = likely $59,900.
C7 2LT automatic starts at $63,445, or $4,455 for the 2LT option. $59,900 + $4,455 = $64,445 (assuming no option price creep)
C7 2LT with Z51 starts at $68,445 with the automatic. OUCH.
The 2LT + manual = $66,740.
Adding options to the C7 today isn't cheap and I'm sure the C8 will be the same or worse.
My 2014 2LT Z51 was optioned out pretty good and it was $68,870 with the base price being $53,800 MSRP.
$53,800 manual transmission +
$4,210 for 2LT
$2,495 for comp seats
$1,995 for exposed carbon roof
$1,795 for Mag Ride
$1,195 for NPP Exhaust
$995 for interior carbon fiber
$795 for the crappy nav
$595 for red calipers
$995 destination
=
$68,870
What's strange is for 2014 the Z51 package was not listed as an option, it was the first package under standard equipment, so I'm not sure how that worked other than they itemized the stuff you get in Z51 on mine (mag ride, NPP, etc).
