This is odd wasn’t the alpha fun at 0? a rare bird to look at. I think I have yet to see one in person. If I saw one at a lot somewhere I’d creep around one for sure[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 3:19 pm Went for a run today, such fun.
Here's the difference. The Alfa got fun at 80, the R gets fun at 40. So much more accessible.

No tune is a smart idea considering the warranty, grab the sequential tails and awe exhaust, DONE!

1k for tail lights ain't worth it. Especially when the standard ones on the 7.5 are plenty nice.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 3:50 pm No tune is a smart idea considering the warranty, grab the sequential tails and awe exhaust, DONE!
Only worth it if you can get a smokin like tarspin did.

I see a gray one around here every once in a while, though why anyone would buy a fucking gray Alfa is beyond me.max225 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 3:27 pmThis is odd wasn’t the alpha fun at 0? a rare bird to look at. Edit: It may not be a QF, may be an ordinary Guilia

Yep, we got a black sport one with yellow calipers at work, i check it out occasionally. It’s the only Alfa on the lot.... we must have like 10gti/Rs
Yeah, I get it. Mods for an $80k pasta vs a $40k bratwagen.[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 4:11 pm
Soooo this is going to sound shitty as fuck but... After having the Afla mods seem CHEAP no matter how much they cost.
Here's the post from tars thread. They're sweet, no doubt about it, but I just don’t think they're $1k sweet.

I decided to install the and :useless: euro spec gorf tail lights on my car. It was a great time.
The coding was pretty cool, the system logic in a typical VW is , there are so many variables in every function block (if that's what they are called). The harness I picked up and build locally was flawless aside from being a little short to run professionally, instead of it being zip tied to the existing harness it needed to cut across the middle of the hatch in a straight line.
I get VW, the control system reminds me of Seimens PLC equipment.

This one was definitely blah so it must not have been a QF.[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 4:26 pmThe grey for the QF is more like cement (similar to the M3 grey) and is VERY attractive. The normal Alfa grey is just blah grey.

I have bought LEDs for the but not my mk7, cause it wasn't necessary for me to justify the cost, the new tails are cool too, but sequentials mannn those things are justGberg2119 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 4:00 pm1k for tail lights ain't worth it. How much did they give you for the Alfa?[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 10:08 am So as you all know I've ditched the Alfa and picked up a .
Car Deets:

White with Black wheels
Already ordered a the AWE Switch Path exhaust. I suspect I'll do simple bolt ons for now, tunes aren't yet available for the 19s and I like the long warranty.
Pics coming later. All the ones I have right now are the worst of the worst potato quality.

So your cost you $61k then.[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 8:55 pmHave you never done a balance sheet?troyguitar wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 7:39 pm 52 - 39 = you gained $13k, no? You lost $74k in 2018 but that was already spent.
74k loss realized in 2018
Offset by 52k gained in 2019
Loss adjustment in 2018 resulting in adjusted loss of 22k
In 2019 I have spent 39k.
