It sure is. My sister is hosting the party, we drink and eat and play games, while the sex toy sales lady talks about what she has to offer, then she does private shopping sessions so we can all pick out our merchandise without being judged by our friends.

Ahh, so that's what really happens at a "tupperware" party.

I had a very bad experience with Ring and actually had to call the police and get one of their support agents questioned and fired. Won't use their stuff even though they are now owned by Amazon.
I used Skybell HD and found it to be better in every way, most importantly in the WIFI signal and video quality. Check them out. I also think they have a better looking unit that is built better.

The only thing the Ring did better was the "zones" in the app to ignore motion in certain parts of what the camera sees.

I should pick one of these up. We don't have a doorbell on our house, and it would be really nice to keep track of who's at the door and when.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 10:43 amI had a very bad experience with Ring and actually had to call the police and get one of their support agents questioned and fired. I was hoping Arlo would release a better doorbell because I really don't feel like downloading yet another home app to use. I'd love everything to be on the same ecosystem, but that's apparently too much to ask.
My perfect doorbell would ring over all our Google assistants with a video alert on the phone. Since I don't have a chime, that's a whole extra thing to figure out.

You don't need a chime if you don't want to install one. Mine rings our phones and tablets and you push one button to see the live feed and can interact with the person at the door. You will need to get power to the doorbell though. Trust me when I say you don't want one of the Ring battery operated ones. We had one on a lab at work and the lab owner told me it sucked so bad he got facilities to hardwire the power so he could use the regular powered unit.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 11:57 amI should pick one of these up. Oh, there is google home/assistant integration for Skybell, but I haven't used it yet as the phones/tablets work for us.
