A quick photo I took the other day while I was sliding the seat back some. Previous owner was a pretty small guy.

Car. sitting. Seemingly random codes. Have you physically checked the wiring for damage from mice? any evidence of mice in the rain tray (poop)?xjezzabelle wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 8:04 pmSorry. Busy day.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 8:11 am
ok, 2 things:
You CANNOT SIMPLY CHANGE THE CLUSTER in these cars with a used one. Its near impossible. this is not a basic DIY job.
If it runs and then shuts off, there are lots of thing going RIGHT. What codes does the car throw?
Oh we know. Between my bf and i researching this shit for the past 2 weeks we are basically pros.
The immobilizer is NOT coming on on the dash. Which apparently is stumping everyone we have talked to . tried to have a new key made but his computer wouldn't sync to the dash.
Having another friend scan it later on this week. He's an Audi mechanic. So hoping he will throw some insight into the mix.
The car ran but the people who sold it to us let it sit for 4 months. And now it does this bullshit. I just feel like it's an easier fix than we think.
Codes:
01321 control unit for airbag- J234
01314 engine control unit
00771 fuel gauge sender -G
01175 key

That's awesome. Got a friend who is a doctor in Bath, just bought a house with private beachfront. Strongly considering a visit.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 7:35 amGoing with Calvinballs and three of our oldest friends up to a cabin in the far upper reaches for fly fishing and whiskey drinking for a few days in September. Thanks Hales. Just had another shitty night's sleephaleyann wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 1:57 amOh dang, those awkward sleeping positions are no fun. Glad to hear it’s going generally well though!wap wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 11:38 pm
Yea, check out the last several pages of the What is Life thread for deets.
Don't want to speak for Irish, but my recovery is going well overall. Ups and downs, but more ups than downs, especially in the last few days. I'm exhausted though, can't sleep well since I can't lay flat or on my side until my sternum heals up in about 4 more weeks.

Kai made it through surgery. He hadn’t fully woken up from the anesthesia and was already whimpering, so they upped his pain killer meds. Hopefully he’s relatively comfortable now. Waiting on a call late this morning or early afternoon that he’s in the clear to be picked up.

Holy fuuuuuuuuck. Good thing I logged into SiriusXM to transfer my dad's subscription. I saw they charged me $300 for the year a couple days ago. Told them to shove it up their ass and refund my money so they put it back to $120/yr and refunded me the $160.

Yeah I already pay for mine and my dad's there's no way I'm paying DOUBLE. At $120/yr it's worth it all day long to me, but not anymore than that.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 11:35 am$300 for the year? If I could pay 120/year and get multiple vehicles for that, I'd do it.
Until then, I pay nearly the same amount for a Google Music family plan that I find to be more useful.

Got another call this morning that he’ll be ready to pick up at 11. Implant didn’t move at all overnight, so he should be okay. Heart is enlarged so we have some questions about that, but hopefully he’ll be good to go after this and live out the rest of his life relatively normally.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 12:11 pmGood to hear!SAWCE wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 11:30 am Kai made it through surgery.
