Nurse scared me for a second. Took my blood pressure and it read 157/something. Then she noticed something was weird on the machine. Took it again and got a much healthier 126/70 around where I normally am.

I made it until a couple months ago, but now since I've heard it I refuse to sing it correctly and that annoys the people who were annoyed I hadn't heard it just as much. Just sing it to a different rhythm or add extra doos

2006. its seeming to be more trouble than it's worth. Currently trying to locate an exact part # match for the dash cluster to replace. Literally found every year under 2006. But need a 2006-2010 diesel automatic to match exactly. Of course we can get a new one from a stealership but who wants to pay $600 for something we can get for like $150 used. Also potentially need to replace the ECM too. i have literally scoured the internet. (which i think im usually fairly good at) with no luck. Looking for parts cars,.wrecks. even calling a VW used parts place in Canada, coming up empty handed. part # 1c0920501r
The trouble is. This may not even fix the problem. Lady let it sit for a few months and now it won't stay running. Cranks. Turns over..runs for like a second. And dies..not fuel pump, battery or anything you'd think it would be. We have thought of everything.
You CANNOT SIMPLY CHANGE THE CLUSTER in these cars with a used one. Its near impossible. this is not a basic DIY job.
If it runs and then shuts off, there are lots of thing going RIGHT. What codes does the car throw?
Oh we know. Between my bf and i researching this shit for the past 2 weeks we are basically pros.
The immobilizer is NOT coming on on the dash. Which apparently is stumping everyone we have talked to . tried to have a new key made but his computer wouldn't sync to the dash.
Having another friend scan it later on this week. He's an Audi mechanic. So hoping he will throw some insight into the mix.
The car ran but the people who sold it to us let it sit for 4 months. And now it does this bullshit. I just feel like it's an easier fix than we think.
Codes:
01321 control unit for airbag- J234
01314 engine control unit
00771 fuel gauge sender -G
01175 key

A quick photo I took the other day while I was sliding the seat back some. Previous owner was a pretty small guy.

Yea, check out the last several pages of the What is Life thread for deets.
Don't want to speak for Irish, but my recovery is going well overall. Ups and downs, but more ups than downs, especially in the last few days. I'm exhausted though, can't sleep well since I can't lay flat or on my side until my sternum heals up in about 4 more weeks.
Oh dang, those awkward sleeping positions are no fun. Glad to hear it’s going generally well though!wap wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 11:38 pmYea, check out the last several pages of the What is Life thread for deets.
