He's revved on me when I'm in the but my car is quiet compared to his so he can't even hear me rev back. I could probably take him by surprise if I got the launch right .
He's probably got the same power I do, but an extra 1k lbs. DCT and launch control if he knows how to use them

Or just get a vanity plate of "M5 LULZ" or something to troll him with.

I've thought about vanity plates to troll lesser vehicles. Would be on my peasant spec It's such a sleeper.Apex wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 11:12 amThat could be interesting then...Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 11:09 am

So played around with it, it's def the pedal assembly, I think the helper spring. Which is odd because that spring is slathered in thick grease. Whatever.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:53 amAt least there's a fix. My had a creaky clutch pedal. It was so annoying.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:44 am
I'll wash the car for that, or have it washed.
I gotta get my tire patched. Found a nail in it. Also the clutch pedal started to creak a little today... looked it up apparently there is a new clutch pedal to fix the problem. If it keeps doing it I'll make an appointment. Just making some noise though, not affecting the drive.

Yea I wish that too. It was my fav blue. But I like yazzz smurf and all.
Carboner roof has 1-2” more head room, 100-150lbs less weight and more heat
I love the look of it though... it is a distinguishing feature of the car

Curiously the only F80 M3 color I don't like is that Shaquille O'neal orange. The orange on the E9x models was so much better.

Yea colors are a personal choice. Can’t blame people for certain preferences.
Speaking of yesterday I saw a gold mirror wrapped model 3

Yea...roof comes off and doors come off, but if you want all the amenities that a ZR2 offers, it's a $10k premium NEW. Used, the difference is massive.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 6:25 pm https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/d/ ... 21268.html

This is pretty much the only used 4R in my area equipped with disconnecting sway bars.

I didn't know they made 4R's with sway bar discos.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 12:33 pm This is pretty much the only used 4R in my area equipped with disconnecting sway bars.

Still, they don't do much on IFS vehicles. I wouldn't put much value in them on that vehicle.

Reviews seem to indicate its a huge change to the way they drive, they corner much flatter with the discos because it can be a beefier bar without becoming a problem off road.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 12:46 pmI didn't know they made 4R's with sway bar discos.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 12:33 pm This is pretty much the only used 4R in my area equipped with disconnecting sway bars.

So the 4R. It's a barge and drives like an old SUV. But not like an old Explorer or something, like an old Expedition (sorry Fords are what I have experience with). Brake dive is surprising because most vehicles don't do that anymore. It leans way over in turns, something like a Forester (which I drove right afterwards) feels like a fucking sports car compared to it. The throttle is super lazy but it'll get to 60 in like 8 flat so it's not a total dog I think it's just throttle programming.
If discos fix the barge handling and a throttle programmer would liven up the go pedal for cheap, I wouldn't have much to complain about except brake dive but whatever. I like how solid it feels and how it just floats over road bullshit. I've driven a few and aside from one with wonky brakes, they all drive exactly the same which is saying something... and the one with 80k on it had absolutely nothing rattling or buzzing. Awful stereo would need to be addressed which is annoying but I could do that.
the prices are ridiculous though. A GC is an objectively far superior vehicle for quite a bit less. A little less "capable" but that wouldn't matter in my specific case.

I wonder how a TuRD Pro 4R drives with the fancy shocks and whatnot?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 1:14 pmSo the 4R. It's a barge and drives like an old SUV. A GC is probably the better buy. Trailhawks are really capable.
