Barber that trimmed it up for me last time was using one on it while I was in there, and I really liked how it straightened it out a bit, so hopefully I’ll look a little more well kept. Will post pics of how it does once I get it tomorrow.
What's boar hair do that a normal brush doesn't? Sounds cool.
They’re just really firm bristles, and supposed to help spread oils around more if you’re combing that into your hair. Seems to be what most black people use to brush their hair.

I went for this one, since the normal size seemed tiny.

Ugh..

Got an email from my Linux machine this morning that I had two drives drop out of the RAID 5 array on that machine. Brought it down and reassembled the array, got 7 out of 8 working, so I was able to mount the volume. After some tweaking I got it to start rebuilding drive 8, but I am currently moving ~30TB off to my other servers.

I ordered another 8 bay QNAP box and 10 8TB Ironwolf drives. Will build up the new box with RAID 6 and then replace the bad drive(s) in the Linux box and re-create the array. Luckily I always buy extra drives for the arrays so when this happens it's easier to fix.

Money I would rather have spent in Hawaii in 2 weeks. :disgust:

I just bought a set of Micheline Pilot A/S 3+ for the car. Two of the old tires were cupping, 1 was dry rotted and the other had a nail.

$70 rebate :notbad:

The tires that came with the Denver wheels were old.

What size cast iron skillets are you guys using? Is 15” overkill? Amazon has the 15” Lodge $20 off for $40 total..

My current pan is the 10.25” if that’s any consideration

I think ours is 12" but I'll have to measure it to confirm.

15" is big...we have a 12 and a 10 and those two do everything we need. Not only would the 15" be heavy, but it's likely much bigger than the burners on your stove, which will make cooking with it a bit of a pain.

That’s what I was thinking re: burner size. Might do the 12 or 13”

Was watching some Amazon warehouse :dill: and grabbed a TLR7 for the P10C last week and it showed up today. Sheit it’s rather bright at 500 lumens.

15 is MASSIVE. I have a 12" that is too :dedong: sometimes. For searing steaks 12" is good. For baking you want an 8 or 10"

10" cast iron is THE standard in skillets.

That's all you'd need IMO.

We have a 12" I think. I'm pretty sure because I know it's not 15, and I'm sure it ain't 10".
Even tho cast spreads the heat out, I'd think going to a 15" ain't great for a stove because the burner likely won't spread the heat out to the edges as much since it won't reach. It's more beneficial for the oven.
Our 12" is good for all around stuff and space between things when cooking but I could totally use a 10" for more often usage.

I’m pretty sure ours is a 10” and it’s pretty perfect for two people. A 12” would round out the collection.

Picked up some filters for the douche wagon on Amazon yesterday. :wasteful: on the K&N drop in. Also grabbed a new Nalgene, I use mine every day and have had it since 2000, starting to look ratty so I’m going to save it for hiking and stuff and bring the new one to work.
