So this happened last year.....
I was driving home late one night from the office...dark and foggy.....traffic cones diverted me onto the shoulder.......at the last second I saw these oil pan killers.....I swerved hard but instantly lost air in the two right side tires.....
I tried to put in a claim with DOT but was repeatedly ignored....I meant to push it but it ended up getting away from me......
Same shit happened at my office, and they "tared" the street in a really fucked way that created all this essentially gravel. I can't drive with my window down next to my office because my tires pick up so many rocks they hit me in the arm as I am driving. It is some of the most insane shit ever. I have to take different roads to get to my office.

I dented my bottom panel by encountering those and a flat tire back in summer 2017

Tiny EV range, premium fuel requirement...which ruins most road trips.
The first gens are cheap because they kind of suck. Fortunately for me, 2nd gens are way better and seem to be holding their value slightly better.

I'm gonna miss the Volt when it's gone, and, I think, you will, too.
It's tough. I do like the car overall, but I am a giant and it's an overall small car. It'll probably be around for quite a while yet as I figure out the new commute and whatnot.
