Many dangs on the underwhelming pie.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 4:20 pmI cheated on the diet yesterday at the outlet mall and got a thing of the hotdog pretzel bites from Wetzel Pretzel. So greasy Definitely paying for that a bit today.
Had a scheduled cheat meal Saturday night. Went to my favorite pizza place out here and had my first underwhelming pie from them Crust was noticeably thinner than usual and less greasy than what I like this place for.

It's funny how cyclical things are. I remember yo yo's being a craze for like a year or 2 back when I was in grammar school and almost every kid walked to school (because that's what we did back then, we WALKED to school, no school bus ) playing with their yo yo. Is Duncan still the go-to brand of yo yo? I think I still have my Gold Award in a drawer somewhere at home.

This is what I had. Not my pic.
Imperials were the established favorite, but Gold Awards seemed to perform better.
Butterfly's were popular, too.

Duncan was still around when they came back for us to be in grade school, but there were the fancy YOMEGA's that Cale listed. You HAD to had one of those.. they had bearings in them or some shit to allow them to spin longer at the end of the rope and would light up and shit. I didn't have one of those, but traded some baseball cards to some kid for a knock-off version.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 5:19 pmI always had YOMEGA yo-yoswap wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 5:13 pm

My mom spent so much money on Yo-Yos between 1998 and 2000

Funny seeing Cale's link.. the Yomega Fireball was the one to have at my school..
Weird style that I just remembered from that point in time.. those webbed nylon belts or whatever they are, in bright ass colors, and wayyyyy too long so that the excess belt after going through the buckle could just about drag on the ground.. I specifically remember this kid Randy Talpas' bright green one.

I ironed my belt right after the buckle at 90 degrees so it dropped down perfectly. So style wowSAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 5:42 pmPretty sure I had a Duncan Butterfly at some point.

Guessing we're within a year or two of each other. I'll be 31 in July.
