People with :manuel: :jeep: experience.. is a little clutch chatter normal? Chilling in neutral with the clutch not engaged and I can hear it, but when I step on the clutch it goes away. Not sure if it's been making that noise the whole time and I'm just more sensitive to it now, or if something is up. I don't hear anything while driving, but it's quiet enough that it'd be drowned out by road noise.

How loud are we talking? Can hear it with the top/doors on, windows up, etc?

I don't recall mine having any chatter at all. Generally noise with the clutch out on an OE clutch is a sign of pilot bearing issues.

I have very minimal experience with the :manuel: in the Heep, but I do seem to recall some minor noise at idle... but very very faint

:dat: is the appropriate action, you gave it a shot already at the :dillerman: where they fixed nothing, other than the leaking axle seal.

Carpets likely aren't going back in until I get this leak done with. They may never go back in.
Dat willys conversion.

Yeah can hear with top on and windows up. I'll try to get a video tonight, not sure if it'll be audible. I'll walk around the engine bay with it running too to see how it sounds outside on camera.

You got it dirty for the first time recently, right?
Yes, but it was relatively mild..

Well, outside or with the windows open or whatever will be more audible. But if you can hear it with everything closed up, that might not be normal.

:notsure:

Probably got all engorged at the thought of me spending money on it and ordering new seals.

I'll check later today and see if it's still the same. If it's an occasional leak - :aintcare:

Carpet will just stay out and I'll go ahead and line the tub.
What liners will you use?

Rhino lining.
Oh... what do you think of liner coating like rhine vs rubber liner mats like weathertech/husky?

Yep, those are the "stock" non upgraded JL-R wheels. Everyone thinks 33" is too small so they are all over the place now. I really like the $995 optional RAMZ :doe:

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/d/ ... 41261.html

OEM jeep parts are basically so cheap it is a "crime" to go aftermarket to upgrade the rigs.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/d/ ... 41261.html Entire suspension $195
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/d/ ... 21934.html or for the JL

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/wto/d/ ... 90727.html $1250 for the nice ones here all 5. I am sure he'll take $1100 in cash.

It’d be $350 to ship from the west coast. :nope:

All the upgrade wheel sets do seem to be out west though.
We are the #1 jeep market in the world, just like we're the #1 tesla market. Weird but true... Dat terrible cali life.

I was just showing you an example locally... I am sure there are other places (florida maybe) that tends to have a lot of jeeps also. BTW grayhound should do some cheaper bulk shipping heard people that had decent luck with it.

The are not bad for sure. But given the choice i'd go for the other ones. And I wouldn't tick the $995 box to get the upgrade.

I almost want to buy the wheels to have another set.. really tempting, but I'm trying to stop "collecting" more stuff to store.

I have never seen a set of wheels and tires that is new for this little. Insane. I don’t see how you can go wrong
