Had a decent snow Friday night/yesterday morning. They predicted 8-10" but we just got 5-6" , which was better than , I suppose.
You better be on winter tires.
We got rain in Philly. Surprise surprise. Saturday Lisa and I went to a baby shower in Yarley, a bit north of us. I-95 was preparing for the apocalypse, no commercial vehicle traffic allowed after 12 noon, WINTER STORM WARNING on the big info boards, lines of salt trucks at every overpass. Noon came, nothing. 4PM we got some flurries. OUT GO THE SALT TRUCKS. Then it's just torrential rain. Rain rain rain rain.
Now it's arctic temperatures. 8F with -8F wind chill. I'm staying indoors <-- like that.
, no snow tires. No less than 11 nuns and 29 kittens met their maker on my drive in this morning.
Heavy rain followed by extreme cold is
It was 0 degrees when I woke up this morning, with a high forecasted to be 14. I've got a yuuge Marmot down coat, several very warm Irish fisherman sweaters, a new-ish battery in the , and a heated garage.

Decided to start doing my cardio after lifting in the evenings instead of first thing in the morning. I'll still be in a fasted state after lifting and it will give me back a good amount of time. I'll be at the gym for an extra half hour in the evenings, but get to wake up a full hour and fifteen minutes later in the mornings.

Lead is back today for the first time since we left for Christmas break. Shit was super busy while he was gone, and we lost a person on our team. Feel like today is going to be a complete shit-show of him freaking out over stuff.
It is now 12 degrees out and the heat isn't working.
Yeah, they should let you guys go home early...
BUT THINK OF THE MLK DAY SALES!
I'm doing my calls and going home. I'm sick from the drive I made Thursday to Myrtle Beach (Jen's aunt passed). Between the main drives and all the inbetween I just did 26 hrs of driving. My back went out after sleeping on the pullout couch at her parent's hotel room, and I'm sick again with a head cold after getting dried out in the car. Good times.
