Half the allure of the dragon and the related area are the roads, the other is the :meat:

I'm down for a :meat: at Watkins Glen for some kind of race weekend, doe.

I'd love to see the Continental Sportscar series or a vintage racecar event there.

Same goes for some kind of offroad :meat:.
I've got a million excuses. Need to just figure something out.

I really want to drive Watkins Glen if they do an open track day or something. I'd love to check off all the great tracks around me at some point. :notsure: I'll ever be able to pull it off.
Watkins Glen is epic! Should check out the HSR calendar to see when they're running up there.

Mid-Ohio is good fun, I got to play with some vipers from Archer Brothers Racing one weekend. I also got up close and personal, like nearly sitting in, one of the Dyson Porsche RS Spyders. Those guys were cool AF to chat with.

VIR is the Watkins Glen of the South, I've only driven it in the wet prior to the Oak Tree being gone.

Just do it.

Where do the excuses stem from? Wife? Dog? :pinshit: ?
Dude, millions.

Truck is on track to be over on lease miles, it's pretty much just for commuting at this point
I still don't trust the :poorvette: entirely to make it to a performance driving thing, do the thing, and back again
Wife always makes :bs: plans that I can't get out of
etc
etc

Critical question; was it a wine bottle in a Pringles can or a Pringles can full of wine?

One is :impressive: and one is
Based on the Wal Mart context I'm going with the latter.

I want to buy a can of pringles now just to see if a wine bottle fits inside. That sounds like a brilliant way to get :drunk: in public without angering the puritans in this country.

Tow the :truk: with the :poorvette: so you only have to add miles if something breaks at the track.

Well, if you trade vehicles frequently (ahem) if can really screw you.

Like If I bought the Blurple truck instead of leasing it, I'd probably be way further in the hole if trading it in on an Orange truck than I paid on the lease.

Or maybe not. Who knows.

:fakenews:
how so?
I think his point is that, when you drive, whether you are a good driver or not, theres always someone that either lacks common sense, a shit driver, or just wreckless/careless. Therefore a car accident is more likely to bound to happen, which is why we wear seatbelts and some of us have dashcams. Opioids is a choice and more avoidable.

So his point is not a statistical reference.

It'll depend on the wine bottle, but I doubt it. Probably some sort of dessert wine would fit in there, but you'll get sick before you get drunk off that.

We have Five Guys here, but I rarely go. I do like it, it's just not my go-to.
We have a really good local burger spot right up the street from my place. I'd hit that over Five Guys now. Burgers are a little more up-scale from In n Out and Five guys, but not too far out of their price point since fries are included in the cost.

Boring, SD, and Twist are all great. Some of their sandiwches look good too, but I haven't tried those yet.

True, but here we are discussing you buying out the lease.

What's the buyout value currently?
No idea right now. At the end it's $32k IIRC. I bet I'd be lucky to get over $30k on trade.

I'm paying $7k to lease it.

Truthfully the more memorable for it. How many folks can say they choked down a Big Mac with POTUS in the White House? Usually it’s all posh formal black tie dinners. This was actually epic.
That. This is similar to the Obama drinking beer thing... which the right fucking RAILED him for doing.

Every politician also does the whole state fair food photo op and local greasy diner visits. This is a non-issue at worst.
I also don’t recall about those being soo exaggerative all over the media compared to Trump.

Doesn't sound smart to buy it then unless it's cheaper to buy vs paying the mileage penalty.
Hence why I'm trying to keep the mileage down. If it's just used for commuting from here on out, it should be under mileage.

But that means no more wheeling.

And thus more excuses.
