It's a rental car. Take out the $35 insurance and roadside assistance and it'll be the best performing off roader of the lot...

how much ground clearance would you say is needed in the barrens? I still have my PTO drive hanging low and a bracket. maybe 6-7"? Got knobby mud tires doe, so theres that.

I’m likely out. Wifey works until noon, and so far nobody is able to switch shifts.

The PTO I'm not worried about - a skidplate would be SMRT for that, but the dangling dongle would probably smack something.

5 minutes with a sawzall would fix that bracket.
yeah I figured that would be coming off no matter what, if anything for more ground clearance this summer. Agreed on the PTO, it does hang down but I would love to protect it. I dont know if it shares oil with transfer case or not...meaning if I bust it open I cant get home.

Nice thing about the pines is that it's rare you encounter any rocks.

At some point I'd probably see if it can be flipped or rotated upwards just to get you a little more clearance (or just removed).

Not sure what your plan was for the PTO drive.
that's good, I can deal with mud caked on it or a bit of grass jammed into it. No plans really...came with it. I guess eventually I wanted to hook a gen head up to it when I turn it into a true adventure box but thats a ways out.

Time frame, [user not found]?

Wifey has to stop in at a client in the morning, so we want to plan things out time wise.
