Hot water heater busted last night/this morning.
That was a cold shower.
Wifey called maintenance, waiting on them to come over. Hot water heater is considered an "emergency" item so hopefully that means it gets fixed today.

Oh good. Someone else's problem.
Renting has its perks. Otherwise I'd replace it with a tankless setup myself.
I might put a tankless in our house this year. Water heater is over 20 years old lol.
They don't seem to be too ridiculously
Maybe $800-1000 for a good unit?
Just watch the supply rate.
If you're running 2 showers at a time, some of the "residential" units can't keep up, especially if the ground water is very cold. My friends were limited by what the city would permit and had to run 2 tankless heaters and have their plumbing split and re-routed.
Company holiday party today, so half day at actual work, then driving down to the harbor for our 3 hour “yacht” cruise around the bay. Was an okay time last year other than people being weird about me not drinking. Hopefully they lay off this time around.

Both good options.
Wonder what food is gonna be served this time. Last year most of the dishes were poorly executed. Brought my normal food in case it sucks again or there aren't relatively healthy options.

You should bring a giant turkey leg and gnaw on that all night.
