A slightly used Golf R with DSG will do everything better for 30k. Unfortunately it doesn't have the cool badge and isn't lifted if that's what we are going for.

A macan is just too much money for a DD appliance vehicle... they don't get much in terms of discunts and they are around 60-65 with the "standard" options that are sitting on the lots. That's a lot of money to blow on a tiny golf.

3k on the and 2k on the :kamry: since 10/1.

Still fun, I miss the involvement of the C5 when the road opens up or has a turn and I'm in the Kamry.

I work at home and only really drive for trips or the 1 mile to the grocery store. Since the gets 20 mpg we take the wife's car on all trips - I've driven about 3k miles in that time and will do another 3k over the next 3 weeks, but none of it in my car.

With no more autox I basically won't drive besides for holiday weekends.

Used Macan does it all. Lifted man. All road, some off road and sport.

Funny you post this... a Macan S + Blows stereo is 58k, vs a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon which comes in at 53k equally equipped... now that's a cross shop you don't see every day.

True. You do not see that everyday. SO I guess do you listen to your inner - man and take the Jeep or take the yuppie badge and roll with a touch more comfort but can go offroad if needed. The Jeep panache/flair and a rugged look at the mall or with the Porsche, flashing the badge and keepin the plebe's in their place lol. Test both and go!

Maxs next car is as hard to guess as it is to win the lotto. One minute it's a Rubi, and the next thing you know the stock market tanks ten points and a 2015 C350 becomes the belle de jour! It's one of the more lively DFD topics. We need a powl!

Macan currently holds value quite well, as they are selling like hot cakes. Any non-loaded jeep holds value well also. The issue is I want a "loaded" version, which unless if "kept forever" creates an egregious financial situation if unloaded within the timeframe >2 years.

The C350 would be from 2008-12. No such thing as a 2015 C350... that's the new gen which costs around 20k... The markets do dictate what I drive. Why wouldn't they? a big portion of my income is tied to them.
