"Do you have a car to trade? Why don't I appraise it for you and run some numbers while you take this nice Buffalo truck for a spin? What monthly payment do you want?"
:dillerman:
"Congratulations, we've gotten to the payment you wanted with only $40k down at 84 months, and we've thrown in the Trucoat to sweeten the deal." :dillerman:
Shit where do I sign

First thing the diller asked me after the test drive in the trailhawk was "do you want to sit down and see what your payments would be?"

"air conditioner smell" is a bit bizzare.

Hard to describe. It's just a smell when you first turn the AC on - not musty, not odiferous, but it smells slightly chemical like a disinfectant or deodorizer with some moisture. I don't know how to describe it. Moist dust? :iono:

CarMax is giving 3k of new tacos

TRD off-roads for 35k
That seems like an OK price I guess.
You can buy one and sell it for a profit used! Taco Loco!

It isn't a stank like dirty boxers as those three entail but it just smells like a chemical leak, or if refrigerant is entering the vents.
Ah. I wanna smell your vents. :hue:

I get an odor from time to time, but it just smells like an air conditioner to me. :iono:
Once it's warm out I'll gladly let you in on this mysterious scent. The A/C is fine initially, but its like once you shut the truck off and get back in a few min later is when it just gets you....never once had a smell like that in any vehicle which is why I brought it up to the dealership.

This was really common on MK6 Golfs, I didn't get it for 60k miles and then all the sudden it appeared, a $15 cabin air filter, and heat set to MAX for 15 min fixes the problem. I wouldn't waste my time attempting to get a useless :dillerman: to rectify a situation. I have given up all hope on these establishments.

:truk: is a beast in the snow. Put it in auto-4wd and hammered it home. 6 inches of fresh snow on the shoulders was cake to drive through. Going around everyone else was way faster than sitting in traffic.
Next set of tarz needs to be at least as good as these in the white stuff.

New torque converter on order, should arrive tomorrow, and they'll start whenever it arrives.

Also, used some part of the 23000 GM points I have accrued to get an alignment done.

Also, yes - Colorado is great in the snow.

I do wish I could turn Stabilitrak off and leave it off, doe. Turns back on at 35MPH.
Even with the press and hold for 10 secs it turns back on?

I have used this successfully. Just spray it in the air intake. https://www.amazon.com/Ozium-Sanitizer- ... ds=ozonium

Negative, I'm sticking with all-terrains. Probably pick up a new set of WildPeak's, but may try out some Duratrac's or GoodYear came out with an UltraTerrain AT that looks interesting but is only offered at DiscountTire/AmericasTire.

I took it around the neighborhood on Thursday after I got done for the day, even in 2WD it does pretty decently, modern T/C is interesting lol. But yes, I put it in 4HI and it was quite the difference. :like: :like:

They usually do a tiered sale, 10% off $100, 15% off $150, 20% off $200, 25% off $250.
I'll let you know when they finally release the deets this year.
