So here's the details.
The trailer is from Innovative Trailer. It's a steel frame, 3500lb single axle, 15" wheels, fold down loading ramp, wooden deck, 10' long and 77" wide deck, there's a fixed 12" tall metal railing around it. MSRP is $1,999 but with year end clearance and a little negotiating it was $1315 + tax, title, plates, etc. The 2017 RZR XP 1000 EPS MSRP is $19,499 but with the factory rebates offered through the Full Throttle sales event and a lot of effort to squeeze out the best deal possible it was $14,240 + tax, delivery, doc fees, title, ect.
My wife and I took it out today for it's first ride. We went the Switzerland Trail. We've taken the 4Runner there before, it used to be narrow gauge railroad bench cut into the side of a couple mountains that connected Boulder up to a mining town back in the day. The rails are long gone and now days its just a rough eroded 4WD trail. These pictures are from a while ago when in the truck but it'll give you an idea.
When in the truck 10 mph is about the high end of what you can get up to and over the bigger rocks and big dips and bumps your basically idling along getting jerked around in your seat.
I drove for about 10-15 minutes in the RZR today and then pulled over and had my wife drive it. She putzed around for a couple minute than all of a sudden she's doing 30+ mph down the trail grinning ear to ear. She loved it, I loved it, it was awesome.
