I tend to agree... It's interesting, their seemingly NFG style seems to be paying off. These will sell ridiculously well methinks.max225 wrote:A Nissan Frontier rides better than a wrangler ... the zr2 has fancy shocks and everyone comments on how great it rides, almost willing to bet it rides better period because but the Jeep is better in every othe way. I think it's ugly and would rather have the regular JL

I really liked how the frontier rode, driven two. And they are surprisingly decent, horse carriage suspension and all[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 9:54 pmFrontier Bro4X rode about the same as the ZR2 on the street.max225 wrote:

They were quite soft. Made bombing through the city somewhat pleasant[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 12:04 amApex wrote:Bro4X rides quite with the stock Bilstein setup.
Rear springs are pretty soft too, but it negatively impacts the payload capacity.
Colorado (non-ZR2) has a better payload capacity.

The Frontier rides really well. I almost bought a leftover 2017 at the beginning of the year, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend new car money on an essentially 13 year old truck.

It was a tough decision. The other factor was deciding between keeping my truck with no payments or getting a newer truck with payments. No payments wound up winning the battle.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 9:46 am I paid $30k for mine, drove it for 2.5 years and 34k miles and traded it for $24k.
They still hold their value pretty well, I could think of worse things to invest in.

I mostly was looking at the Frontier because it had a 6 speed manual.

I think it is a tool used by banks to allow non-ballers to feel like ballers.
The truck I drove was nice. Perhaps Nissan might actually decide to update it for 2020. The Gladiator and Bronco have my interest piqued, but I'm sure their pricetags are going to make me want to vomit.

Had the airbags reprogrammed in my ZR2 and the gave me a brand new Silverado loaner. LTZ with 6.2 and every option. It was a rocket, but I was really glad to get back in my ZR2 after that. Too big, no thanks.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 10:08 amI was looking at the last gen vs new SIlverados when I dropped my truck off on Monday, and man are they tall.
I don't hate the new trucks, I just hate how big they are.
