Once it's warm out I'll gladly let you in on this mysterious scent. The A/C is fine initially, but its like once you shut the truck off and get back in a few min later is when it just gets you....never once had a smell like that in any vehicle which is why I brought it up to the dealership.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 1:50 pmAh. I wanna smell your vents.
I get an odor from time to time, but it just smells like an air conditioner to me.

This was really common on MK6 Golfs, I didn't get it for 60k miles and then all the sudden it appeared, a $15 cabin air filter, and heat set to MAX for 15 min fixes the problem. I wouldn't waste my time attempting to get a useless to rectify a situation. I have given up all hope on these establishments.3rdgenfan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 2:47 pmOnce it's warm out I'll gladly let you in on this mysterious scent. is a beast in the snow. Put it in auto-4wd and hammered it home. 6 inches of fresh snow on the shoulders was cake to drive through. Going around everyone else was way faster than sitting in traffic.
Next set of tarz needs to be at least as good as these in the white stuff.

New torque converter on order, should arrive tomorrow, and they'll start whenever it arrives.
Also, used some part of the 23000 GM points I have accrued to get an alignment done.

Negative, I'm sticking with all-terrains. Probably pick up a new set of WildPeak's, but may try out some Duratrac's or GoodYear came out with an UltraTerrain AT that looks interesting but is only offered at DiscountTire/AmericasTire.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 4:21 pmSnow tars?Apex wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 7:38 pm is a beast in the snow. I took it around the neighborhood on Thursday after I got done for the day, even in 2WD it does pretty decently, modern T/C is interesting lol. But yes, I put it in 4HI and it was quite the difference.Apex wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 7:38 pm is a beast in the snow. Wow you’ll have it through at least Monday.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Nov 21, 2018 6:10 pm Update on : TC installed, they still need to do a final road test and track down my B-pillar rattle.
So, I'll have the loaner for a few more days.
Glad they're not rushing.

Drives better, though.
