What's so sad is the stretch of Woodward Avenue in front of the old Model T plant is the first stretch of paved road in the country. It's in one of the worst areas in the city (actually, a different city called Highland Park that's 100% land locked by the city of Detroit), and the road is in horrific shape. Such a commentary of society.

Mazderp, like most manufacturers, seems to be incapable of putting good gear ratios on their
cars. In the iA, 3, and 6 the is 20% shorter in 6th than the auto - and I spend over 90% of my time cruising in 6th. The C5Z06 and C6Z51 gearbox is about the only one with a short-ish 2nd and a long-ish 6th that I know of... it's
