Yep I love this car.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 10:16 pm
Holy shit the want is real. Having driven and thoroughly enjoyed the best driving hatch back ever (megane) these baguette bangers really did it again.
Looks really great, only weighs 2400lbs 205s up front but with little weight doesn’t really matter.
Can’t believe a gayman weighs 700lbs more.
Too bad we don’t get this

It's priced identical to a base Cayman over there, so like $55k starting. I sat in one and loved itBig Brain Bradley wrote:ahh fawk i didnt know it was that much.troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 10:44 am and are the only people here AFAIK who have bought $30k+ automatic sports cars, though the Alpine would be twice that...

It's way more roomy/comfy than I expected. Nothing like getting into an Elise. It feels like a real car.

My "favorite" has ~150 JLs on the lot, and ~40 JKs. that is a shit ton of inventory, and they are all 2018 models as for some strange reason is not making any 2019s yet.
JLs have 5500-6500 on the hood
JK have 6500-7000 you can get a really nicely optioned JK in the mid/high 20s
I think FCA may have flooded the market... and the real 's will start happening soon.
FYI APR is now 4.22 for 24-60 months. At this point paying cash makes more sense than getting a loan. That's a shitty ass rate.
I would wager the poors that have no business owning a wrangler are starting to get priced out because "the payment doesn't fit my budget" due to the higher interest rates. Gone are the 0/1.9 72-84 loans...

Time for 96 month loans! Or more subprime borrower discounts.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 2:19 pm My "favorite" has ~150 JLs on the lot, and ~40 JKs. that is a shit ton of inventory, and they are all 2018 models as for some strange reason is not making any 2019s yet.

I'd be surprised if Wrangler resale doesn't drop in the next year. Subaru WRX's used to have stupid high resales because there weren't a ton of them made each year. Subaru figured the supply problem out for the VA chassis and flooded the market so to speak, so now resales are a lot less than they had been historically. I see the same happening to the Wranglers. There was never this much manufacturer support for them.

No one is going to finance 96 months under 10% so it strips out the demand from trying to sell to all those people who have no business in said vehicles to begin with.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 3:11 pmTime for 96 month loans! WRXs are old now, and that market is saturated. They have been unchanged for 5 model years now... most people are about them.
