It's basically an appearance package how it sits now. Tossing on some 33's would distance it from a regular ZR2, but it's probably only a few grand more than a ZR2 as it sits.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:39 pm
But I get the, probable, reason(s) that they decided to stick with the 31's though for better on-road manners.

Combination of on-road manners and the need to trim the front fenders.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:39 pm

That's what I figured. I'm willing to bet it's still more than capable on the 31's though. Can you even fit 33's on a stock ZR2 without trimming anything?Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 3:30 pmCombination of on-road manners and the need to trim the front fenders.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:39 pm

The Bison did Rubicon just fine, as well as tons of Moab. 31's are just fine, it's really mall crawlers that want more.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 9:59 amThat's what I figured. Good to know. I like the 31's honestly, never understood the desire for the larger tires unless it's on a crawler or something like that that can actually use them.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 10:31 amThe Bison did Rubicon just fine, as well as tons of Moab. 31's are just fine, it's really mall crawlers that want more.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 9:59 am

I'm still leaning towards putting 32's on the Z71. 255/75/17s should fit quite nicely with the leveling kit.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 10:31 amThe Bison did Rubicon just fine, as well as tons of Moab. 31's are just fine, it's really mall crawlers that want more.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 9:59 am

I'm thinking about grabbing a proclip dash mount with a RAM ball on it to mount my incoming, if I ever win an auction, tablet. Should be out of the way when not in use, and I don't want to have a giant mount sitting unused. RAM mount should be easy enough to pop off when I'm not running the tablet.
It should be placed well/adjustable enough that wifey can use it to help navigate when we're riding together.

Trying to grab an iPad Mini, seems like it would be a nice size for what I'm looking to do with it.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 4:26 pmI'd suggest an iPad Mini. Also, I really like my cupholder mount. Good location for dual-access.
I like your cupholder mount, and would go that route if we didn't use both console cup holders frequently.

Fuck, man. I literally just sold the wife’s iPad mini she never used last week. If I’d known you were looking for one...Apex wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 4:49 pmTrying to grab an iPad Mini, seems like it would be a nice size for what I'm looking to do with it.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 4:26 pm
