Probably something the dog got into. Lisa's parents have a backyard?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:24 pmNo clue likely some allergic reaction or bacterial infection. Skin scrapes didn’t find the culprit today they need to remove a full thickness piece of skin and dig into it to figure out wtf is going on.
Bumps were present but small Thursday when we picked her up from Lisa’s parents. Got steadily worse.

poor pupJohnny_P wrote:Got back from vacation to Dgriffland on Thursday night. Picked up pup from GFs parents. Noticed some bumps on her snout but she was acting normal and wasn’t scratching so figured NBD.
Bumps staged roughly the same Friday.
Saturday they started to pop open and drain pus all over her face. Her right cheek flap was puffy and hanging low. She was visibly upset by this. Called Vet and made an appt for Monday.
Today she’s super mopey, no energy, shaking intermittently, puffy face, super sad, with all these pussy bloody bumps on her face and a massively swollen lymph node on her neck.
Gave her Benadryl to knock her out and hopefully ease some symptoms. She’s sleeping and snoring normally now.
We will see Monday. I might sleep downstairs with her tonight doe.

Yeah, I'd still do 99% of my cooking inside on the oven/stove, but it'd be nice for changing things up on the weekend and grilling up a few of my chicken or steak meals. $500 is a lot to swallow though.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:23 pmFrankly dude it's a perfectly reasonable size for an apartment guy/crotchfruit free/beach camping/jeep owning couple like yourselves. The only reason you'd need a bigger grill is because of your ridic brotein habit.

Yeah that’s what we think happened. Odd part is she’s been over there before with no issues. So who knows.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:25 pmProbably something the dog got into. Lisa's parents have a backyard?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:24 pm

So 25 people run over by a white van today. 9 are dead. Police have the fuck face alive and in custody.
There should be some serious Reservoir Dogs scenes going down tonight.

Yeah.. I'll see how much actual camping we start doing next year when my schedule calms down, then see about snagging one. Maybe they'll come down in price a bit by then too.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:41 pmIt's a luxury item unless you really do a lot of camping, in which case it looks
Wife read your post and said your vet was thorough and estimate for everything you described, including biopsy and analysis was fairly cheap.
Said biopsy should tell you what's up with the skin. Or at least that's the hope.

Yeah that's it. They explained the lab they use for skin testing is rather specialized and the test alone is ~$400. So we'll see. She goes to them tomorrow morning and gets sedated and stays with them all day long. It was basically a no question "go do it" type thing because they tried all the cheap methods of looking and couldn't find what was wrong.
Poor doge.

More from my boss. He's at our customer all week. Called me just now at 4, when I'm off at 4:30, wanting me to redo a quote before I leave because they changed their mind on how many they want. I already completed the original quote for their requested quantity, but somehow it's my problem that they want just one board instead of 16...

Easy, knock 5% off the quote for 16 units and tell them that's the single unit price.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 7:57 pm More from my boss. He's at our customer all week. I bet they go for the volume discount.

It wound up being close to 50% due to expedite fees. $225ish for 16 each. $1500ish for a single board delivered in two weeks.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 8:32 pmEasy, knock 5% off the quote for 16 units and tell them that's the single unit price.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 7:57 pm More from my boss. Well the fever could be an allergic reaction to hornet or wasp venom but about the blood.
Hope she's feeling better soon.
