The car is fully finished and ready for pickup. I just need them to get a confirmation from insurance of some sort (payment approval or whatnot) to be able to pick up the R.

:idbtg: , there's no way he didn't already pay for the damn repair and park up at his mom's house against all logical reasoning and advice. He knows that he's getting an ear full once he finally admits to the outcome.

He should come out of the wood-works and tell us about his :fullcrang: decisions and take his lumps like a man. 5/7 would love to know how the GTI is running.
That S3 guy @r8dillerchild quit posting when he realized that his custom Cali tune blew up his car... he also pulled the plug for a while when he made a left turn into oncoming traffic with his p-car before that. It must be a trend or something, post up when the going is good, pull the plug when OP brain goes

Yeah Dave, very disappointing but at this point the car is fixed and ready for pickup. The landscalper is scott free. Like :Rudy: says, a dash cam goes a long way. Thankfully it was zero out of pocket and my insurance isn't going up. I motor onDavestr wrote:Your very own pet-rock! Glad this is working out for you man. Too nice a car to see this happen. Did you get data on the landscraper who was negligent. He should fkn pay....

Dang, now I wish there was a way to squeeze in the pickup tonight. I want that car back. Tomorrow the dillermen are open until 6pm and I have a late start due to crotchfruit drop offs and my workplace is on the opposite side of the world from the dealer. To get my car I have to find a way out of work by 3 or 3:30 pm to beat traffic across the city. It might suck for the customer but priorities are priorities.

Placing this here for a quick and easy reference in case I lose it. Fuse layout, planning on adding a dashcam soon.//cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5ad964e7392 ... Layout.pdf

3k in parts, 3k in labor. All new everything and the car feels tight as a drum. I even tried the adaptive cruise and confirmed steering wheel alignment.Gberg2119 wrote:Tarspin wrote:
Today's work reassignment got deferred until next week. Grabbed some breakfast and the R instead.
And insurance covered the full estimate right?
