The update, after 4 weeks, is apparently to let the retards that negligently broke his car in the first place, perform a repair to it with no guarantee it'll actually repair it.
4 weeks and we're right back where we started.
At least they haven't asked for the loaner back yet.

I've been lurking this thread since [user not found] sent it to me way back on page ~40. I think not knowing any of the prior forum history has made this even better to watch.
There is a lot of very sound advice in here and the current decision is definitely not the choice I'd make. $7k to not have to move or think about the car again? That sounds like a coupon to freedom to me. Take the trade-in and keep it or drive it for a few months and trade it on something different.
