Funny story, my friend almost didn’t make it home after one visit when he was a teenager; they were going to keep him for the mandatory military service based on his age.

He'll take it up the to fix just the exhaust cam. The car will run fine, and he'll deem the car "fixed" and drive it for a month before oil consumption rears it's ugly head. The piston is likely screwed up, but they didn't bother to find it so . Said piston will then weld itself to the cylinder wall when the oil pain is fully drained, and good 'ol will have the car towed back to the for a full $15k engine replacement. Because he won't listen to us and take it straight to carmax.

And they all lived ily ever after.

This is the most likely scenario of what will happen.

Here is my issue with the whole Crang issue, and it isn't about Crang specifically. I see such paralysis of decision making in the world. It's not generational it's across our whole culture it seems. People wait and wait and wait for the perfect solution without realizing that nothing has a perfect solution. The best thing to do is to ACT quickly. It always works out better in the end than if you wait, even if there ends up being another possible 'better' solution. Success isn't based on making the perfect decision, it's making many fast progressively better decisions.

I do this all day long at work and at home. My wife suffers from decision paralysis at home all the after managing her dopey high school kids and I do it at home as well. Sometimes I make mistakes and that's fine (not in her eyes because she needs to review every single option..). Take a moment to think things through and learn to listen to your gut. It's one of your most valuable tools.

Not yet. We're not going until later this year. We're flying into Zurich and flying home from Geneva, so we're for sure spending a few days in each of those cities. I've tentatively found a couple hotels but haven't pulled the trigger yet. We're currently looking at picking up a Swiss Rail transportation card to take day trips to other towns as well. Currently on our radar are day trips to Lucerne, Bern, and Laussane, so we may visit as many as 5 cities while we're there.

Have you been to Switzerland?

Bern and Lucerne are amazing. Mt. Pilatus is cool

Id definitely recommend heading to Interlochen and visit Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch and Eiger.
