Thanks man. The appreciation of others doesnt go unnoticed. But when working 70 hours a week I often contemplate getting out to work something different.

On the upside this experience gives you lots of legs up in the civ world.

Managerial and a clearance. My specific job isnt too marketable. But anyone can be taught new skills if afforded the opportunity.

Im okay with killing anyone. I personally would rather we didnt put our nose into places that we dont belong. That however is a discussion for another time and place.

Yes. We are not living in poverty. But we certainly do not make the most money. My base pay is $2950 a month. Then factor in the sub par healthcare and my housing. I make about $4250 a month before taxes.

Take into consideration that many of us only have a high school education on the enlisted side. The Air Force provides many opportunities and encourages continuing education. Whether or not someone goes beyond an associates is up to them. But you will never make any senior ranks without it.

I am done my associates and will begin working towards my bachelors this fall.
