He was kind of interested in the Rogue until I suggested a Cadillac cause he will have it for 10 yrs and will be 74 by the time it shits the bed.
He got pretty excited about that idea.
Any suggestions?

If he wants something taller, an SRX with the 3.0 NA engine is equally bullet proof. Should be pretty cheap, and they're nice inside and out.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 5:44 pmIf he doesn't care for power. A 2.5 powered ATS is a solid move. Drive a Corvette in the Summer, ZR2 in the winter, have the ability to do short-term car swaps if you need something you don't currently have (say swap the Vette with someone who has a for the weekend so you can move something, etc).
I'd probably still own SOMETHING. An impractical weekend project to tinker with or something, but 95% of my time would be in a subscription car.
The problem these days is that needs change so frequently. Like we have the Volt, a car both of us love, but wife's hours changed at work so she gets there too late to plug it in (spots fill up). The car hasn't driven on electric-only in months now. have a plug-in at this point? If she was on a subscription, we'd swap her into a Cruze or something.

Subscription is the way to go. I'd love to drive a different car every few months.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 7:41 pmBoogers and dead skin doe.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 7:14 am As much as I enjoy owning a car, I'd jump on a subscription. That’s hilarious, but let’s be real, 11hp+ vehicle + driver + 1500lbs. That thing won’t crest 20mph. It may be ok for the 3rd world but not for the greatest country on god damn earthDavestr wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 3:30 pm https://jalopnik.com/this-mahindra-one- ... 1822977934

Just another brick in the wall breh. The fake news i been talking about for a bit... financing first ... then demand with pods, then likely a spike in gas prices due to dollar turning worthless.Davestr wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 3:27 pm https://jalopnik.com/say-goodbye-to-sup ... 1822990402

Voila trifecta of issues complete, ppl will default on their shit and the auto market will collapse. Happens every 20 years or so. It’s almost predictable as the reasons for why are almost always the same
