I've concluded that riding on public roads is fucking TERRIFYING. Will never do again unless I have an engine and mirrors.

Depends on the road but yeah it can be scary at times. Not sure how big the shoulders are in KY, or how aggressive the drivers are. I'm extremely picky about the roads I ride on, and typically use the less traveled back roads with decent shoulders.
