planz for the weekend:
Saturday I shall do my yard in the am. I may go to the gym first, TBD.
saturday early afternoon I will do some garage/storage rearranging.
At some point I'll go to homebrew shop for beer supplies.
late afternoon and evening I shall do my grom front forks.
Sunday I will prob go to gym if I didnt go saturday. I will prob food prep for the week. I will go ride grom around with its newfound front suspendy bits.
monday I will brew some beerz and watch the monacco GP.
solid plan is solid.

I installed my vise!
Forks off grom for new valve kitssss
doing work. Learned a lot about motorcycle forks this day.
Maybe this will help the internet, cause there is crap info on this online. Basically, the TEXT of the directions is right, the PICTURES are wrong. the hardracing video describes it well but only SHOWS one valve, the compression. It too failed to take a pic of it the correct way.
Also, I guess on most motorbike forks, one valve handles compression and one handles rebound. It does on the grom.
Grom feels WAY better on the front end now, night and day difference.
edit: also shout out mnnthbx / ohlins for including spare washers and c-clips in the install kit. The 2017+ grom forks have different style valves on the inside; there are no c-clips and the washers are a different size. that dollar's worth of parts saved me much aggravation.

Sorry what is the backstory on why you want to replace your BMW with a Miata? General distaste for power?Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2017 5:08 pm https://www.carmax.com/car/14561611

unless they have some unicorn thing at the local store, I'll never fucking deal with them. Their apprasial guys seem to be VERY hit or miss.
My 2011 tdi golf is a great example. very clean, 1 owner 22k miles, oem bixenon. Was offered $14k when trade was $16-17k nada/kbb. I sold it for $16,5 2 weeks later.
The VERY next week, the guy I sold my roof rack too, 1 week later went to carmax: got $17,500 for his 2010 lower spec TDI with 70k miles 3rd owner DAILY SMOKED IN and far from clean.
same carmax location, 1 week later, $3500 difference... No roof rack would add $3500 trade value...
very much fuck carmax.

Now you get to deal with selling a $30k+ foreign vehicle without a pickup bed to airboaters that haven't seen that amount of cash in their entire lives.
Dis gon get gud.

Fur-inn (Euro) motorbikes are painful to sell. I'll probably end up trading the KTM at the next

This seems like a move to me.
