Pretty sure TX threatened to secede in the past. If anyone had a chance, it was TX. So I doubt anything will come of it but, hell, stranger shit has happenedmaxtdi wrote:Yep that's a thing now :dafuq:

Liberal butthurt always exceeds conservative butthurt, IMHO. I for one, am waiting with popcorn to see which, IF ANY of Trump's brash "policies" he really believes in. The salesman made a sale. He actually has an amazing opportunity in front of him to do some real good. We'll see if he takes it.Thedude wrote:Pretty sure TX threatened to secede in the past. If anyone had a chance, it was TX. A west coast union could be pretty cool. CA+OR+WA, maybe throw Vegas in there too. I'd think about moving.haleyann wrote:Oregonians are wanting to secede too. The protests are pretty insane.
We've been discussing that for years, it's already named cascadia.troyguitar wrote:A west coast union could be pretty cool. CA+OR+WA, maybe throw Vegas in there too. I'd think about moving.haleyann wrote:Oregonians are wanting to secede too. The protests are pretty insane.

Dude, that's Oakland. What on earth is new about violence or burning cars in Oaktown? Do you even BubRub? Do you even Whistle Tip?
You don't know oakland anymore bruh... It ain't no fried chicken and waffle special no more.Desertbreh wrote:Dude, that's Oakland. What on earth is new about violence or burning cars in Oaktown? Do you even BubRub? Do you even Whistle Tip?

Interesting. I have definitely followed your posts on the gentrification of SF but didn't realize Oakland had gotten all pretty as well. Both of them could use a good scrubbing for sure. It is actually NICE to be there now.
Ever since the 1 bedrooms went to 4k in SF everyone started migrating across the bridge, and they REALLY LIFTED it up. I seriously enjoy hanging there.
Sure there is shit, but the nice areas have quadrupled in size.
I'd live out in the sticks withlagunasecaballs wrote:troyguitar wrote: A west coast union could be pretty cool. CA+OR+WA, maybe throw Vegas in there too. I'd think about moving.you'd be saddened by the cost of living.
They lined with streets with $1000 bills from startup up money... they got scrubbed for sure.Desertbreh wrote:Interesting. So you think the Capitol of California is not riddled with traffic and is considered the "sticks"troyguitar wrote:I'd live out in the sticks withlagunasecaballs wrote:

The traffic bothers me even more than the costs to be honest. I HATE big cities. Fun to visit once a year but will never live in or near one.
Not right in the capital. In the suburbs.maxtdi wrote:So you think the Capitol of California is not riddled with traffic and is considered the "sticks"troyguitar wrote: I'd live out in the sticks with

I suppose... I think you're still underestimating the population density of said area.troyguitar wrote:Not right in the capital. In the suburbs.maxtdi wrote:
