you are a far better person than I, I would haveJohnny_P wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2017 8:07 pm GF said to me yesterday something along the lines of if I do more stuff around the house and take initiative and that sort of thing that she'll be more likely to be turned on and therefore more likely to want to
So yesterday I completely reorganized the downstairs closet, rearranged the shoe rack and put the vacuum back in there, it's now usable as a closet again. Took all the shoes off the staircase (puppy proof) and put them on the rack in the closet. Took all the bike stuff and organized it in the basement on a rack. Installed her bike seat she bought over the winter. Swept the upstairs, stairs, and downstairs. Went and bought painting supplies for the kitchen. Went and bought the two dog feeder toys we wanted, as well as some more treats and a birthday cookie for the dog. And put away all my clothes that were on the drying lines.
Nothing. No secks last night. No secks this morning. Nothing at all.

So I did something stupid on Saturday. It was a beautiful day so I went for a nice long walk.
Wearing brand new shoes for the first time.
With no socks.
Not only did I scrape some skin off just below both ankles, but I developed a yuuge blister on my right little toe which, of course, burst open about half way through my walk, leaving me walking home with a raw, red, open wound the size of a dime on my pinkie toe.
The thing hurts like a motherfucker with every step I take. I'm putting neosporin on it because so much skin is gone and I'm doubling up on band aids to cushion it, but holy fuck it hurts.

I had an awesome birthday weekend. Had a few old highschool friends come over to break in the new house with some beers. Boddingtons, Murphy's Irish Stout, Fat Tire, Flying Fish Abby Dubbel. Got my air hockey table working, got the big tube TV working with my old NES. Good times. The finished basement is a fully functional gaming/hangout den now

They come in every color, I get athletic ones that are stitched so they're tighter in the middle and thicker at the toe and heel. The brand says PowerSox.

I get them at Kohls when they're on sale and it's my mom's go to birthday gift for me.
