Anyone in here play with photography drones? If so, what are you flying? I have a Typhoon q500 with the cgo3+ 4k cam. It was between that and the Phantom 3.

I had a great batch to dump but due to technical error deleted them all. Image

I just bought a nanodrone on Amazon about 5 minutes ago for my office, I could see someday actually owning a fancier drone but then I just found out you have to register with the FAA?

:disappoint:

The use of drones is morally questionable.

I've been thinking about buying the Mavic Pro. Inventory issues have kept me from pulling the trigger, but I may just do it.

I was set on the Phantom 4, but the size of the Mavic is much more appealing.

I'd love for you to come take some aerial photos on the Melon Manor.

Punchagoat has a drone, not sure how much he plays with it.

The size and mobility is pretty :impressive:

I agree, but I am curious yo know if the size impacts stability when recording video or when it is windy out.

Size is the only thing I don't like about mine.

It's obviously not gonna be as stable as bigger ones but he's had no problems recording in windy conditions

Supposedly it is pretty good in the wind.

Pretty sure they stopped selling it due to failures.

Edit: Looks like they brought it back up for sale. It was off the market and lots of people were pissed at the issues they were having.

About three days after I got mine I had a run in with a bush in the back yard. Took some soldering and research but I was able to repair the camera and get it back running.

Epic build quality, the thing feels like an apple product.
Pretty decent software also.
Form factor is amazing. You can easily carry it anywhere.
Video quality is good when 4k mode is used, any other mode results in artifacts which is annoying as fk. Go bro in 720p looks good, this thing doesn't doe.
I am always paranoid I'll lose a 4 digit toy doe. So things get nerve wrecking when you can't see/hear it anymore.

Other than that, it has rained for 3 months straight so I had no time to use it more. I flew it in tahoe and around my house.
