That was a huge reason why I swore off the brand. Why MINI can do it right and BMW is just a shithole I have no idea. They are the same company even.

MINI is a smaller footprint of niche/quirky cars where the relationship with owners/customers is more of an experience versus BMW who is shifting toward mass market badge whoring and SUV's

All the more reason that they should provide great service... the cars themselves aren't compelling enough to sell on their own, and SUV buyers probably care about that sort of shit.
