You would think that they would have made sure the vehicle was spotless in the areas where they felt the need to take extreme close-up pictures.

Clean the damn car before snapping pictures.
Know anything about what they are selling.

Wouldn't that be a C8 effect? If the C8 looks more like the classic corvette just like the previous gens, it might have been a different story.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 6:12 pmI think mine has finally gotten old enough (guess it takes 3 generations) to no longer fit into that stereotype. Yeah, any premium brand is a bit flashy. Also any is way too flashy.

Honestly those are pretty much beasts in sheep clothing, most people will think it's a Malidoodoo. That's pretty much the best choice the OP can have considering he's not looking for anything that basically sticks out. on data 6 speed auto doe.RLWake wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 10:05 pm I’ll just rattle off a few to think about
Used Chevy SS (you can find or auto depending on scenario uno or dos). LS3 rowdiness and all the practicality you could ever want. This would be a top contender if I were in your shoes with those requirements.
CPO TT RS (god-tier 5-banger than can be tuned straight to heaven and back)
Used GT350 if allowed in scenario whatever
Maybe a S550 Roush Mustang? My ‘s dad just got a 2019 Stage 3 with 3k miles for $52k from a in NC. Very attainable. 710hp or something stupid like that. Comes with a warranty.
Lemme think of more...

No closer to any decisions really. I’m not driving enough to really GAF at the moment.
New Veloster N with DCT is intriguing but it seems that a hitch is a no-go with that car. Also don’t have much desire to buy a new Korean thing - although for as long as I tend to keep cars, perhaps it doesnt matter. I wish we’d get a proper Elantra GT N.
GLA AMG is probably still at the top of my list for hatch-y things. COVID has kept depreciation at bay on those making a good more difficult to find.
Mazda3 turbo has crept onto my radar. Upscale inside, good power, seems fun enough. Would be fun to embarrass proper hot hatches with it.
In the sporty car arena, I’m probably leaning 4c or RWD F-type S coupe. Boxster/Cayman is probably the smarter choice but they’re too common around here for my liking and generally driven by no-talent douchebags with money.
