They're a Detroit area company. I've talked with the owners before, really solid dudes. I'd buy from them for sure.
Oh shit! Good to know! Tell them to make a full width bumper for me
Full width bumpers are tough because of the size. Not just to manufacture, but store and ship. Still seems like they could have an opportunity for removable end caps on the stubby just like OEM.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

Yeah a modular set up like OEM or Metalcloak would be

This OEM one doesn’t have removable end caps so suck it.
it absolutely does unless they're giving you the plastic one...

Per quadratec:
“The Mopar Rubicon Offroad Bumper is made for the Wrangler JL and Gladiator base models. This one-piece, gusseted steel bumper is a direct replacement for production bumpers and offers the front end protection you need.“

I had my bumpers mixed up. This isn't the factory Rubicon bumper from Mopar, this is their own one...which is the upgraded version of what you had. I still think it looks great...probably the best aftermarket option.

Ah gotcha. Yeah it’s the off-road rubicon from Mopar. Would that still count as aftermarket since the OEM makes it? I don’t know how all that works.

Depends on the definition of aftermarket, but that bumper isn't installed in the factory at all, so the only way to get it is after the vehicle is produced...hence "aftermarket".

Jeep still supposed to be done on Friday I figured between the holiday and the ‘Rona it’d get pushed to next week for sure.
Any updates on totals and what bumper they are using?

They’re using the Mopar Off-road bumper from the JL Rubicon Dillerman and Detroit confirmed that it will fit.
