Not even close. Averaging 15.2 on the last tank. :aintcare: when the Corolla got me over 62.
Each one has its place. And :aintcare: about 15.2 when the daily commute is like 6 miles.

I mean, we've gotten up to 26 highway numerous trips in the JLU, so this seems possible.

To achieve the 24-26 range in the Beep Beep it is low 70s on cruise control. I tend to go more like 79 in the Corvette, as it is far more confidence inspiring and efficient at that speed versus the :jeep:

Cruise set at 72. Trans is in 8th most of the time, some hills it drops to 7th.

Yea that makes sense … we don’t drive 72 on west coast. I am usually at 80-85 speed limits are 70-75 out here.

Insane. My JT never ever saw better than 17, and that's setting cruise ~70mph.

Rubicon's must really hurt FE.

Speed limits are 55-65 here. I get people blowing past me during the day at 72, but I fly by people at night. Weird.

West coast with all those wide open highways is indeed :stig: The CT with the FE gears is actually happier doing 80-85 than 70-75. Was great out west. Same shit FE nomatter what.

I chill at 65 on the freeway here. If I’m making the drive up to Lancaster I might do 70-75.

Traffic moves a little slower in general here.. even at 65 I’m generally getting over a lane or two to pass people doing 50-55. I stay as far right as I can, but I’m generally not all the way too the right because of people and truck driving even slower than the posted speed limit.

I just stay right because as slow as some people drive, we still get a fair amount of people racing around at 80+, so I don’t want to be in their way even though I’m doing the limit.

Yeah I've blown by cops on the LA freeways at 100 when they weren't too crowded and no fucks were given. :iono: I just don't really enjoy driving fast in the :jeep: :doe:

Even then we were in the wide open country on our long road trip in NV, TX, etc. I mostly just went 75, which was generally 5 mph under the limit.

I do 69 in 55s and 84 in 70s

I was told by a few law enforcement drinking buddies back in the day that generally speaking state troopers set their guns at 15 over....

I am a big keep right, pass left person. Its actually the law in PA and NJ but not really enforced..... If everybody did it, I believe traffic would flow smoother and safer. It's also a very courteous way to drive. I do realize its not really possible on bigger multi lane highways.

The right lane in my experience is almost always more beat up and has more debris than the left. So I stay left 90% of the time and check rear view every 30 seconds to let speeders pass

They really must. My all highway drive to work gets me mid 16s at 70-75.

Now the flow of traffic is more like 85, and that drops me into the 12-13 range.

I’m also pouring donkey piss into the 2.0T and not premium.

Those fenders make a world of difference I bet… plus bigger meats.

I don't understand how I averaged 20 on a 200 mile trip on a manual JL on 35s granted I was going around 65-70
