They have been decent as far as not scratching shit... but not as far as not making the steering wheel shake or watching the headrest shakeDesertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 7:25 pmI don't want free tire repair. I want to pay you to fix my tire AND NOT FUCK UP MY SWEET RAMZ BRO.

The ones here are all staffed by early 20s car guys who always ask me if I want to pull my own car on the lift and stuff because it’s a Corvette OMG! Never had an issue.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 7:25 pmI don't want free tire repair. I want to pay you to fix my tire AND NOT FUCK UP MY SWEET RAMZ BRO.

It depends on the balance machine used. Most of the cars they do a regular balance even though they have the Hunter RoadForce machine. Next time you go, ask for a road force balance. It tells them exactly where to put the weights because they have a roller that simulates road confound (hence the name road force)max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 7:56 pmThey have been decent as far as not scratching shit... but not as far as not making the steering wheel shake or watching the headrest shakeDesertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 7:25 pm

The long wheelbase makes the JT remarkably stable at high speeds. Never had mine over 85
and the wind is deafening in mine.

It's really more stable than you'd expect it to be. Still, I'm not sure it's capable of triple digit speeds even without a limiter.

I went 110 in a rental JKU sport once on a back road in Upstate NY (RIP Troy).
I was curious what it could do... it got there easily enough but wasn’t something I’d ever choose to do for more than 30 seconds.
I’ve hit about 90 in our Beep Beep passing and it was fine.

I wish I could find one. They all suck. Forums are usually the best bet.

Apparently the clutch can blow up and punch holes into the transmission in the JL/JT.

Six months to go on the Renegade lease. These things are starting to hit our area, so it’s time to start kicking some tires.
