All the fords we have owned were fine for a few years then at like year 2 or 3 they had something major go wrong. I have no FCA ownership experience but they seem to have a few issues early on then stay decently solid.
I have a ford with 408k miles and a non collapsed seat... I had 2 lincolns with over 100k miles, and I had T bird and a Mercury cougar... all were fine. I haven't had a fraud since 2000 so who knows...
Yeah the overhead speaker bar is one thing that's nice on the Wrangler that it seems Fraud isn't copying / one-upping.
I like the lack of a b-pillar horizontal support. Legit open top. And easy remove panels on the front and rear seats is superior to the Wrangler top that can only easily remove at the fronts. I dunno, tradeoffs.
One really cool thing is the accessory mount bar on the dashboard. WAP's dash mount compass wouldn't look out of place on it
It's awesome when the top's off...which lets be real, most people will only do once or twice and never again.
I attribute a lot of the audio sound quality in my truck with the sound bar, will be interesting to see how Ford solved for that.
we top down like twice a week at least and I see people with tops off all the time... I think it’s a key feature and huge part of what makes the cars so fun.
You should really consider that as a possible avatar.
Someone find me a pic!
Then Rudy, put a mask on it.

DFD. The forum where everybody makes the same choices and then tells anybody trying to join the club that they are the stupidest motherfucker to ever walk the earth.

The sound bar truly is great for front seat passengers. I've been trying to spot speakers in all the press videos and I haven't yet. The Outer Banks trim and a couple others list B&O stereo with 10 speakers + subwoofer as options.

We've got the tops off ours constantly, but I notice that many others don't, which I can't understand.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

Dat. Would be topless at every opportunity.
We pretty much are...I really love taking the doors off too, but that's a bit more effort. Bronco seemed to fix that

Though, there was enough leaks and intel to know this thing would be legit. There's been freak-outs and prepping with every single little spy shot leak for the last year plus now.

In Charlotte most people have hard tops with windows up all the time, but in the beach towns and stuff, people are full on no top, doors, etc. We also have a lot of at my office and they seem to remove body parts regularly. A lot of our upper level managers and execs live the life actually. One top product guy has a TJ that seems to always be topless when he drives it, other car is a
I would tell him about this place but don't really want an exec from my company reading my posting.

I can't wait to try this out but need to wait for to be out of town or something. She is by how unsafe it is. She does fold the top back all the time as well though, even when she's driving solo.

Sure, there's safety risk, but it's not THAT bad. It's just for cruising around town, but I find it surprisingly fun.

It’s silly fun to cruise around town with the doors off.
Such airflow, much freedom.

Yeah I'm all for it. My wife just thinks a lot of things are dangerous. She got super when my friend crashed at the Track Night in June and was all worried about me doing events. To VIR tomorrow!

Did you flail your arms around and then go on a bike ride?

I've even driven 30 minutes on the freeway at 70mph and that was fun too.

I was just like "sorry if you're worried about this but I will be continuing to " and she consented. I will say though, TNIA seems more dangerous than NASA events and stuff by far where they have actual instructors and shit. Track Night you can just be like "yeah, I'm advanced , here's a tech form I completed myself and I'm going to go rip it at 160 MPH in my broken Camaro at Charlotte Motor Speedway for my first track time ever".
