In terms of a high performance sedan, the introduction of that Lexus pretty much puts the Germans on the trailer. Screaming NA 470 horse V8 with Toyota reliability? That's an E90 M3 engine with more power and MADE OF ALUMINUM, not glass. I'm going to go check it out.

Fully Agreed.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:21 pmI'm liking the evolution of the spindle design era - they've toned things down a bit. The reunification of the headlight elements looks great.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 1:49 pm Yeah that thing is basically a brand new ISF. It's classy looking, the RCF is too much.

I would consider stretching for one if it had the manual, that would deliver just about everything.
Although why I said that, I cannot stretch to $70K
Stretching is like... $40K.
I am kind of into the F80 right now actually, they seem to be sub $40K which is
ATS-V can also be had for $35K
It seems no one wants pretty new super sedans.

How is that M engine holding up over time ? I read about a bearing failing on some even when I had my F80, it has been quite a bit of time and these things were ragged on for a few more years. I am curious if the S55 has gotten some flaws or if it is still pretty good.
The maintenance is pretty atrocious for the M cars... that's not something I would take to the dealer for sure.
$730 air filter charges have me quite annoyed to be honest. The parts/service costs are just out of this world.

Dat Acura is but too for me ..... If ima spend that much I'm gonna badgewhoor .... Beama, poorsche ...... Truth is, I really dont think I will ever shell out that much for a car...
I haven't really looked into them, TBH. I would really prefer the E90 if the F80 has similar maintenance "issues". ATS-V is likely a much more reliable/low maintenance car than any of them because it's a GM.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 5:30 pmHow is that M engine holding up over time ? I have already owned a BMW and never once set foot in the , I would never. I think servicing a vehicle at a dealer post warranty is fucking insane, I question anyone who does it.

My mini maintenance costs at the stealer are reasonable. Same goes for Toyota. But M cars... Jesus fuckballs
Cost is only one part of the equation for me. I find that it is extremely inconvenient - you have to schedule a time around your work schedule, drive there, either wait/arrange a ride/get a Lyft. I also don't appreciate the upsell attempts for stuff like "injector cleaning" (recent one when took the Beep Beep for a free oil change). I can simply work on cars myself for less money, often times less headache, and not a ton more time. I am not a pro but still likely better than most of the "pros". If it's not something I can tackle, there are several indies I can take my car to and just walk home, it's far easier and generally cheaper. They also just do what you ask them to typically without a bunch of stupid red tape.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 11:01 amThe weird part is .. it makes sense for some brands.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 10:59 am

Gotta love that Caddy depreciation.
I would absolutely daily an ATS-V sedan.

There are a grand total of nine ATS-Vs con on Autotrader.
2018 with 504 miles for $52.7K, the most esspensive
https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sal ... pe=listing
2016 with 33K for $32K the cheapest by a large margin, next one up is $38K.
The 2016 looks pretty nice, $20,000 off vs. "new" It is also a "hot car" :flames:

Dunno about these but they are fast, look good on the outside, come with awesome seats and you can clean boogers and dead skin off the dash with windex. And probably cost very little to maintain vs. M.

I like how the ATS-V sedan looks, but IMO the M3 looks even better, has a more usable, and nicer looking interior, more trunk space, is a whole adult male lighter, iDrive > that gen of CUE, and much more aftermarket support. Not necessarily for mods but also maintenance and repairs. To me all of that is worth the money over an ATS-VDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 3:20 pmThere are a grand total of nine ATS-Vs con on Autotrader.

I do really like it as well. But it seems to look a lot like an Audi A3.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 5:30 pm https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2022 ... but-range/
