We got a shit ton of 5.slows with fucking no mufflers or whatever shit they throw on these now. They are all LOUD AF, and honestly its killing the V8 noises for me because now I am associating the m with drug dealers. Shit my neighbor got a corsa piped SS mero and I hate that fucker, I can hear it from my room every time he starts it up... That's behind 2 doors and a garage.
We get the same here, but it's all Challengers with driving like complete asshats. The association is real and
Especially where we live, we're right by a major boulevard that's popular for illegal and have a highway on-ramp that's the same. The loud ass bikes and cars get OLD.
And I like driving a loud V8 car...I'm just kind of over it at this point for some reason. I think others have ruined it because it's so and commonplace.
I'd still love a purple widebody
There's a meet just like it in the parking lot where rent v6 chargers and just do
Meh, my GTO is loud. It's had the same Magnaflow glass packs on it for about a decade now. I'm sure the fiberglass is pretty much gone at this point. I have some replacements to put on, and I'm curious to see how much the car will quiet down with them. With that said, while the car is loud, it certainly doesn't sound bad by any stretch.
Straight pipes on anything sound awful. It takes a special kind of stupid to make a Mustang or Challenger sound bad, and people are accomplishing that task in droves.

Bad is an operative term. There is music that is beautiful but if played too loud it gets annoying AF. The point that was made was that a lot of 5.slow/V8 owners like to be noise polluters.
old man status but it is what it is, When it is your car and you do it once a day or a week at your disposal with your own right foot, it is great fun.
But if you're on the receiving end of the noise, at 7am while on work calls, or at 3am or at 10pm when watching movies... It is a bit of a nuisance.
Cheap power.... G35/37 are ragged to shit nowadays...
G35 was going HAM in the video tho.
Lots of good G37s out there for cheap. G35 is hard to find not beat up. I always liked the 35's looks a lot more than the 37.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.
The CEO at my last company (English dude living in Iowa) drove this same era Rover. Daily driven 30 year old complete shitbox but I've only ever seen the one he had, we went to dinner in it once and he was just so nonchalant about it when I was all " this is really your car?"

I was hoping that my jack stands were in the recall so I could get them out of the apartment. I haven't used the 6-tons in 5+ years since I don't have heavy cars anymore. Got 4 of those big stands just taking up space here along with the big steel jack that I also haven't used in years.
Even though they're not in the recall I'm sure they're worthless now and it seems dumb to throw them away.
