Heh, I feel ya Brad. I was only in the rental house for 18 months so you would have thought with that move I'd "discovered" things from storage. Nope. When we moved over summer I definitely stumbled across some "hm, when did I buy that?" items in the garage.

The gem was a set of new MCPi front control arms for the VW. I am pretty sure I bought those when I lived in Tucson (<2014). No idea I had them.

No man. You paid me $80 shipping via Paypal and I sent them to you. Check your garage.
:lolol:.

ok will do. any idea how long ago this was? 2-26-18. right after Charlie was born, so I had like no sleep... that explains why I forgot.

I'll see if I can hunt them down

Little late to the game.

But it is to keep the GTI for this year since I actually own the car now #paidofflife

I may consider perhaps change the suspension or switch to coils since its at 88k miles (engine is 77k miles) now and I noticed it bounces more, so currently at that dilemma. :notsure: if i want to :plac: Also to change the timing I believe.

Id probably want to tune but I also don't wanna end up getting a cx5 so :notsure:

Car will definitely hit a 100k this year, especially with my current commute.

And a nice detail, i feel like i got my car guy card removed

And that's about it

You should just :doit: :iono:

Right now my plans are to refresh some aging components on my Corvette, get out to the track (already signed up for four days) as much or more than last year, possibly :plac: the BMW, maybe not.

We are moving this weekend and I think I will start riding my bicycle to work a good bit, so we shall see how I feel in a couple of months. Definitely feeling the :jeep: wants after renting one :wtf:

I am always back and forth with it on the Beemah... but I'd rather :troywax: on 'vette stuff/track days when it comes down to it.

I'm glad I went for the fart can on the Kraut Wagon though. Sometimes modz are #worthit.

I probably won't do anything... too likely to :plac: to want to spend more on it.

Uni was great on my :mk6: 5/7 would recommend.

Bruh, it’s so simple with noticeable gainz.

There are loads of used ones for sale and it takes 15 min to plug in, including routing through firewall to get to the OBD plug.
Uninstall and sell for what you paid when you get tired of it and/or the car.

I’m on my third :baconator: on just as many cars, I might as well work for them.

2020
1. Hit the track :stig:
2. Buy a moto (first) :stig: :stig:
3. Learn to appreciate the crap I have and not constantly think about something else
4. Forget about 3 and sell Mini for a boring lease

I actually did a few lessons back home and was set on getting a DL, but a move kind of put those plans on ice.
Now in NC you’re just a knowledge and vision test away from a 12 mo learner’s permit and a 1000cc squid missile.

More realistically I’d like a 2013+ ST3, or hell I’d even consider a Duke 390.

There’s a few at work that ride and although roads within 30 min kind of suck, double or triple the distance though and there’s some truly amazing roads like the Appalachian and anything at the NC/TN border etc.

God bless America amirite?

Both of those are good options with fairly low running costs and very manageable power curves. Might consider a Duke 790 as well for giggles - it’ll have the most up-to-date electronics package (esp. cornering abs) - not sure where that lands in your price range :doe:
