Ok, Ford vs Ferrari is an instant fucking classic. I can't for the true race fan cut with less shifting and explosions.

Mad Max: Fury Road
A two hour car chase... and it’s barely even about max. It’s a top 5 movie ever for me.

I’m going to double down on this one. The whole depiction of the story is nonexistent without the cars, and they’re each their own character. And then when you actually look at the cars in some detail, there’s as much thought, passion and soul in each car as there was put into the cast.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:18 pmHmm... MMFR is a god damned cinematic masterpiece up there with the best. I got a chance to see it in The “black and chrome” rerelease, Miller wanted it to be released in black and white. It was stunning.

Agreed. Mad Max 2 and 4 (Road Warrior and Fury Road) could not exist without the cars and epic car chase scenes.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 10:02 amI’m going to double down on this one. I can't really commit to just one. Also real vague topic as what defines a "Car movie" aslo fiction v non. Ronin still one of the best chases but not a car movie. OG Transporter is fuckin legit with the Beemah and soundtrack.
Loved the new Ford v Ferrari.
Faster - but thats a bike movie/doc
Sucker for the Fast/Furious chain.
Matrix 2 Ducati chase scene + soundtrack
Fury Road - watched 3 times. So good. But is that a car movie?

Like I said, I totally get where you're coming from... the "cars" are sort of odd though, they are just random post apocalyptic machines, its hard to relate.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 10:02 amI’m going to double down on this one.
