WU and the walmart equivalent both seem to want over $100, feels like a scam to me. Damn bankers putting epic holds on everything unless you pay extra fees. :iono: :wrong:

How do you get cash or a cashier's check from that? I've never used it. This is a :wap: to :wap: transaction with me in the middle. They don't computer.

Issue isn’t sending the cash, it’s how does Troy get it since he has no local branch.

Short of stuffing a FedEx box with cash, you’re stuck with fees.

Actually Troy, will your bank overnight a cashiers check to you?
Could be worth a call to ask.

This seems like the least annoying option, worst case it goes out Monday and arrives Tuesday. Everything else seems to say "up to 3+ business days" and I really need to get it by Tuesday afternoon.

H/K have really been nailing designs lately. The Telluride looks bad fucking ass, bar none. The Velobster looks rad and the N treatment is very :datass: Stinger is a really cool looking, unique car. They also have what I find to be a very intuitive and well designed infotainment system that works well and is fast. And tons of features for the dollar.

Shame about their badges. Because IMO that's the only thing actually holding them back in a lot of peoples' minds. That and the slick willie dealerships.
I'm sure there are many of those, but our H :dillerman: encounter was the best, easiest, quickest, zero hassle car buying experience bar none.
Our local Kia dealership replaced a seized engine with 170K farts under recall/warranty...... I have no idea what their sales force is like.... but that kind of service has me wanting to throw them some serious business if ever I get my agency to fleet buying stature .......

By far the cheapest reasonable option.

In theory I can grab up to $1000/day (with fees reimbursed, so effectively free) from ATM's but I don't know of any machines locally with a limit over $500, so I'd have to go to at least 2 different machines for 4 days in a row to get to $4k in cash. That's a lot of work.

Not to mention $4k in 20s is a fat stack.

Yeah it's the same question :doe:

I don't have a local branch for any of my accounts with money, so it's apparently either getting a check overnighted or going to a bunch of ATMs.

I'll probably do the ATM shuffle because :scrooge:

Toyota extended the warranty on 8 million 2.4L 4cyls for oil consumption to 150k. Honda, Kia and Hyundai have done similar programs.

Many domestics have just said “oil consumption?” :derp:

Around here Chase Bank and most BofA ATMs dispense 100's and never give me a problem getting up to my account limits per day.

Or, pay the fee to Western Union and be done with it.

Mission Accomplished. Apparently Schwab lets you do cash advances at any bank for free since they don't have any real branches. I called them up last night at 9PM to get the ATM limit raised for the weekend and they told me about that. Big online-only bank ftw.

This is what $3800 buys today. 2011 HHR w/ 76k miles. 4 speed automatic transmission. Terrible ergonomics. Dunno why my dad loves these things but it's his money. Image
