I would say if the OTD price is good, but I got burned on my Civic that way... we agreed on OTD then when they delivered the car to make the deal, they hadn't included tax in OTD.
I wish they had, after driving the Si this weekend, it's more fun than the Beemah. The tech is very annoying though.
I wouldn't put up with that shit either. If you can't make 99% of the numbers work over email / phone in 2019 then I have no interest in stepping inside the place. The 1% is the trade in value number, but you can get in the ballpark on it.

Sandy's "internet sale price" was $22,995, another $1846 off web price and $5920 off sticker price.
Ted's "OTD" price yesterday was $25,491 after his about not knowing "what Sandy was thinking".
Title and license xfer fees in Illinois are 95+101=$196
Doc rape is $180
Sales tax where I live is $7.5%
I can't make the work:
22995 x 1.075 + 95 + 101 + 180 = $25,096. Where does the extra $395 come from?
Nearest I can tell is he's starting with $23,363 x 1.075 + 95 + 101 + 180 = 25491
What fees/extras am I missing?

I'm only really interested in a yellow limited with the performance package... which is fortunately how all of the yellow ones were equipped.max225 wrote:I guess, I’d rather new car. https://www.premiersubaruoffremont.com/ ... 8a1513.htm
I’m sure you can get this for around 25 pre tax

Why do you do this to yourself I mean you'd think a WR blue subaru is the way to go... but yellow will make this an epic hunt, and remove you from any possibility of a new headache free car.troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 1:15 pmI'm only really interested in a yellow limited with the performance package... which is fortunately how all of the yellow ones were equipped.max225 wrote:

The limited trim and performance pack both include substantive upgrades and color is the most important aspect of the look of a car. I'd rather get a bright ass green Mirage than a black Corvette.
5 figures is a lot of money to me and I'm not spending it unless I get exactly what I want. If I can make this happen, it's also likely the last fun car I'll be able to buy.

If you're going to get a Hyundai, just get a Kia Stinger, avoid the need for seppuku.

Not for me. It's for the Mrs and she about performance, cool factor, etc. It's really the perfect :toaster: for her.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 3:22 pmIf you're going to get a Hyundai, just get a Kia Stinger, avoid the need for seppuku.

So, more logic.
The first car I showed her was the Mazda 6. She absolutely HATED the front end. Said the grill was huge, ugliest thing she's ever seen, etc.
So this makes her
But this is totally
Personally, neither offend me at all but

Isn’t that the TS trim or whatever now ? There is also a performance package with “Sachs” dampers and brembros, is that what you want ?troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 1:40 pmmax225 wrote:

The ts is some track special or something, only comes in black with a giant wing on it.max225 wrote:Isn’t that the TS trim or whatever now ? There is also a performance package with “Sachs” dampers and brembros, is that what you want ?troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 1:40 pm

Performance package is a $1200 option on the Subaru and includes fixed calipers at all 4 corners, wider wheels, and better dampers. It's a steal.

Yeah that one. It's a performance package car with a stupid wing, a stupid body kit, and stupid 18" wheels that are no wider all for an extra bunch of money.
Toyota has a TRD SE 86 that's only black and similar in equipment.

Found another bloo Sonata Limited in Indiana so I reached out through their website just to get competitive pricing.
I asked for their best OTD price, broken down to show TTL, Doc rapeage, and gave Erin my town and county so they could figure the tax.
This is the reply that I got.
This was my reply:I would love to set you up for a VIP appointment directly with my sales manager to get your hands on this Hyundai Sonata, take it for a test drive, and really get a feel for the vehicle! Today we are open until 9 PM, were you more availble today or tomorrow?
Erin,
For now I'd just like your best out the door price, broken down as I requested. This is a requirement before I would come in. Thanks.
We'll see what happens next. The cars are pretty much identical but I'd rather not drive to Indiana. There are not nearly enough [user not found]'s in this business.
It's the fucking 21st century. This should be doable in less than an hour via email, with 30-60 minutes in the showroom to sign shit and write a check. This business model is so

Erin replied:
As out the door prices do come from management, I will have to touch base with my sales manager to get you that price. I will forward it to you once it comes back to me.
Looking forward to earning your business,

I dealt with this BS when Jeep shopping. Absolutely terrible.

Heard from Erin's sales person.
I replied: Thank you for the number, but as I've asked a couple of times now, please provide a breakdown of that price. What are the individual costs for title, license fee, your doc fee, and tax? Zip code is correct.
Unbelievable.
On a positive note, this price is $1600 higher than the place that's much closer to my , so that's good to know.
Yes you cow, I know my own zip code.Thank you for your patience. Assuming the zip code you provided is correct, you total out the door price on this Sonata Limited is $27,091.26. Below I have included additional pictures and information on the Sonata. Please let me know when we should expect you here, so I can have my manager on hand. We look forward to earning your business.
