I’m going out on a whim here and say.... I don’t like the 992. The only improvement is the exterior.
Interior is weird ... gear shifter is weird
Hvac is weird
No visible engine
Digi dashes
Those door handles
Piano black everywhere
Barely any performance improvement
150k for an average optioned one

No way those are gone.
Lack of engine bay has me the most I get the demographic and such, but I think quite a bit of the audience enjoys working on their own car vs paying $699 for an oil change.
C8 is looking better and better by the min.

Manual is coming later in the model year.
Working on the car isn't bad, and oil changes aren't difficult at all.
I do agree though about the looks and styling, which is why I jumped to get a 991.2 before the selection was so limited.

I think so, but then again I am biased.
So far, this car is pretty amazing to own and drive. The quality is outstanding and the performance is great. It's not a Z06 killer, but 9 months into ownership and I don't give a crap.
The only thing I want to do to it after putting on the JB4 (hopefully this weekend) is do is the hack that enables Android Auto on the head unit.
The lack of standard android auto in all the premium brands is really REALLYCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 10:50 amI think so, but then again I am biased.

At least on the Porsche system it's easy to enable if you can work with a telnet shell.dubshow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 12:22 pmThe lack of standard android auto in all the premium brands is really REALLYCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 10:50 am

Obviously I've never driven either, but I just don't get the appeal over the mid/rear engine competition - or an actual 4 door supersedan if you want a brute of a car.
