I've heard that the B9 with sport package is actually a pretty good car to drive. That's still a little big for me but I wouldn't mind testing one. Probably about the same size as my MKZ.
Fantastic cars. I worked at Audi when they came out, 7 speed DSG is :tits:
Here you can have a low mile one for the price of a loaded civic. I know where i'd spend my money, although the civic won't depreciate and that will fall into the abyss. If a forever car... it's quite epic.

My :plac: idea that isn't going to happen is still to grab either a 2.0T quattro A3 sedan or an ATS sedan for <$20k. Right sized cars with solid performance. I'm scared of VW issues, GM 8AT issues, and GM 2.0T issues :doe:

I mean most cars are reliable until 120-140k. Which would take you 7-8 years to get there there... If you buy one now for around 20, it'll probably be at 30-40k miles, that's around 100k miles of motoring... and frankly at that point car ownershit will likely not be a "thing" for the poor anymore. And we'll be ridesharing everywhere like it's fking 1921

ATS 3.6?

I honestly like the look of them and 6MT, LSD, BrembroZ is tempting but that means 2.0T and I.. yeah..

The V6 is solid but the 8AT is :notsure:

The 6MT is solid but the 2.0T is :notsure:

Therefore, the only solution is to get an ATS-V con :manuel: instead. :math:

So what's the dildo with the 2.slow ? I thought it was "fine" for the first 4/5 years post release... are they blowing up now in typical GM fashion ?

GM built some great 2.0t engines. I wouldn't be concerned about the one in the ATS one bit.

So bossbro bought a brand new 2019 Suburban with a 6.2 :ellis: a few months ago. A couple weeks ago we pull into the work parking lot at the same time and he gets out and waves me over. As I'm walking toward him I start hearing a bird chirping. I then realize that his car is running and he points out that the noise is not a bird, but is coming from his engine, and it's speed-dependent. I told him it may be a belt/pulley/bearing and to bring it into his :dillerman: since it's obviously still under warranty, and that it's probably nothing serious. Upshot is he is getting a new crangshaft and "several" lifters, and he doesn't know what all else. The :dillerman: has had his vehicle for over 2 weeks now, too. :notsure:
:wtf: :thisisfine:
:wap: Where are these mangos?

Only logical solution, yes.
They should’ve AMG’d it and crammed a V8 in there but they’re still :tits:

Didn’t the 2.0Turds have issues with piston failures?
I believe it’s one specific cylinder that craps out as I recall the Astra OPC/VXR had the same issues.

Race fuel only 101 or bust
That's what I fill up with exclusively. There's a station <1 mile from my house that sells it and I made friends with the owner. Instead of $8.99/gallon I get it for $7.gallon.

He saw me filling it up one day and came out to look at my car and we talked about 20 minutes. He's a :amir: with a 488 and told me to always go in and ask for "his price" before filling up.
This is quite epic.

I tried this tack once and was roundly villified.

Her car is worse. Again, I have never used insurance and never dealt with anything remotely like this - how do you know a $500 repair from a $5000 repair? Do you have to decide for each car whether to make individual claims or can they both be done together? Can plastic bumpers be PDR'ed and touched up or is it cheaper to replace them? Etc.

Pretend I'm :crang: here...
I would literally buff it out with a ROP and see what you think at that point.

Damn current gen A4s getting cheaper. That's a shit ton of car for the money.

Also obviously an AZN exchange student who got a 55k car and a 300k education like it's no big deal.
