My friend is at the launch event and texted me that almost everyone there, even the hardest of the hard fanboys are shaking their head at the interior.

They streamed all the info a few hours ago. 495hp/470tq LT2. Base car "starts at under $60k", Z51 will do 0-60 in "under 3 seconds" and "only slower than the ZR1". Trans is an 8 speed DCT (likely same as the ZF in the Porsche 992). Extra low gear in the Z51 to get off the line fast and close 2-6 gears with 7 & 8 being overdrives.
Looks like they finally went to coilovers/regular springs on this one from the overlay/animation they showed in the event.

The transmission looks to be a Tremec.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 2:00 amThey streamed all the info a few hours ago. 495hp/470tq LT2. Old white people are the ones who buy this car new. They golf. It’s actually rather important, not being able to fit the golf clubs would be terrible. Joe wouldn’t be able to show off his fancy new Detroit lambo to the other guys escaping their wives and families and pounding down Miller lites while “golfing” in salmon colored polos. He’d have to take his other car which is a Camry and that’s not very metal.

The mix of hard lines with the Pagani Zonda cabin is really throwing me off. And the Camaro rear but why. But I like aspects of the exterior. The fighter jet air intake is cool.
I want to see more real pictures though. Like are there wheel arch flares? I can’t tell.
That interior with the square wheel though. Man. Chevy continues the tradition of vette interiors that are a let down compared to the rest of the car.

This is a unit of measure since the C4 advertising, and a really good one.
I don't golf, but anyone that has been around the block knows that the bags are pretty damned big and this gets the point across about the trunk size better than "xx cubic feet" when the area is curved and not a fucking GTI box.

The interior is another story though.

I think it looks pretty sharp from the front and sides. That rear end
